There are two kinds of tree companies. The kind that gives you a number and a promise, and the kind that gives you a number, a promise, and then actually pulls into the driveway on the day they said. Around here we became the second kind on purpose, because we kept meeting homeowners burned by the first.
One of our favorite jobs started exactly that way: a White Oak down in Star that other outfits quoted and then walked away from. In the crew's own words: "Others would quote the job but then ghost my friend & never return. We got the job done!"
